She has also written and been published extensively, including a monthly column on “People Skills” that ran in the Charlotte Business Journal for six years; countless newspaper, magazine and e-zine contributions; her Hoffer award-winning book, Stand Out When You Stand Up—An A to Z Guide to Powerful Presentations; and award winning speeches, including a Cicero Writing Award in 2011.
